Megachurch to Begin Services at Gwinnett Arena
Gwinnett Church eventually plans a permanent home on PIB in Sugar Hill.
A Gwinnett megachurch that plans a permanent home in Sugar Hill starts up regular services this weekend at the Gwinnett Center in Duluth.
Gwinnett Church Pastor Jeff Henderson said in an email to followers this week that services in Duluth will begin Sunday, Oct. 2, at 6 p.m. Plans also had been disclosed in a webcast in July.
"We will have Waumba Land, UpStreet, and Transit for children and students," Henderson said in the latest email.
The land for its permanent church site is in Sugar Hill on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard not far from North Gwinnett Middle School.

Gwinnett Church is meeting each Sunday at 6pm at the Gwinnett Center, not the Gwinnett Arena. It will be fantastic. Bruce Saarela
