Jurrjens Hit Hard Again for Gwinnett

Former Atlanta pitcher Jair Jurrjens had his second straight rough outing Monday, as host Rochester banged out a total of 18 hits in a 10-1 victory over the Gwinnett Braves.
Jurrjens (2-2) allowed 11 hits and six earned runs in 4.1 innings. He allowed a three-run homer in the third and a two-run double in the fourth. The Red Wings led 7-0 when Jurrjens departed in the fifth.
For Gwinnett, Ernesto Mejia homered to extend his hitting streak to 10 games. Gwinnett remains in first place in the IL South.
