Former Atlanta pitcher Jair Jurrjens' comeback hit a rough spot Wednesday for Gwinnett, as host Buffalo scored four runs in the first and third innings en route to a 14-7 victory.
In all, Jurrjens gave up 12 hits and 11 runs in 4.2 innings of work, and is now 2-1 on the season.
In the first, Buffalo got a three-run, inside-the-park homer on a misplayed ball with two out. The next batter then homered for a 4-0 Buffalo lead.
Stefan Gartrell had a two-run homer for the G-Braves. The teams play again Thursday in Buffalo.
