“We have a field of 18 teams to play as of this moment. We expect to have our best fundraising outcome ever. This year’s event will likely put the Friends Charity Golf Classic over the $100,000 raised mark since its inception,” said Gary Galloway, the resource and marketing coordinator for Gwinnett County Health and Human Services, in a news release.

“The Friends Charity Golf Classic at TPC Sugarloaf is all about committing to raise money to support senior programs. Many of our players or volunteers, adult children themselves, are beginning to deal with issues with their own aging parents, relatives, or friends. We are thankful for the generous support from key sponsors, donors, and players,” Galloway said. “We are raising our commitment to uplift our seniors.”
