There's so much going on this weekend. The Flicks on the Bricks summer series opens with a big screen showing of "Puss In Boots" on the Duluth Town Green Saturday. Pre-movie festivities start at 7 p.m. with inflatable rides and games. Bring a blanket, chairs and picnic dinner for the family to share. The movie is PG, and it's free!
There are Friday and Saturday night concerts at the Red Clay Theatre plus a special "Dragonfly Races" Family Matinee concert at 2 p.m. Saturday.
The Duluth Farmer's Market is offering fresh produce and artisan crafts from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot at Hill Street and Ga. Hwy. 120.
Four new exhibits have opened at The Hudgens. "The Sleeping Beauty" continues at the New Dawn Theater. #Gatsby Bash and Skid Row are presenting concerts at Wild Bill's. My fingers are getting tired of typing....

Flicks on the bricks went well, with one exception. The "S" bomb was in one of the songs before the movie. At least it wasn't like last year, an "F" bomb was in a movie during flicks on the bricks at the Town Green.
