Duluth Offers Holiday Fun for Kids While School is Out

Campers will make gifts for friends and family, bake holiday treats, and create tree decorations.

Wondering how to entertain your children during their holiday break from school? There’s an easy solution. The Duluth Parks and Recreation Department is offering a Holiday Camp at Bunten Road Park Dec. 19-22.

Camp is open from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. for children ages 5-10. The cost for Duluth residents is $80 a week or $100 for non-residents per child.

Children participating in the camp will enjoy gift crafts, games and age appropriate activities in a seasonal holiday atmosphere. Campers will make gifts for friends and family, bake holiday treats, and create tree decorations. A visit and pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus is planned during the week. The camp fee includes materials, snacks and a holiday picture.

Campers will need to bring a lunch each day and dress appropriately for painting and other activities. Space is limited.
