Duluth Patch Editor Faye Edmundson, Wallace Reid of Wallace Reid Portraiture, and Bill Crissey of Gwinnett Gallery presented a framed copy to the city of a photograph taken by Edmundson of the 2010 Christmas Day snowfall on the Duluth Town Green and Duluth City Hall. Reid enhanced the photography with a Currier & Ives treatment, and Gwinnett Gallery framed it. The photograph, which was presented to the city at the Jan. 9, 2012, Duluth City Council meeting, will hang in the lobby of Duluth City Hall. A small plaque will acknowledge the donation. Standing next to the photograph displayed on an easel during the presentation ceremony are Bill Crissey, l-r, Faye Edmundson, Duluth Mayor Nancy Harris, and Wallace Reid. A closeup shows details of the photograph that include the city’s Christmas Tree, a red sleigh, and other holiday decorations. Part of the Duluth Festival Center appears at right. Duluth City Clerk Teresa Lynn had requested a copy of the photograph for City Hall after it appeared in the Duluth Patch.
