The biggest hotel in Gwinnett would be a great place for a "staycation". The Gwinnett Place Marriott on Pleasant Hill Rd. has it all........restaurants, lounge, room service, indoor/outdoor pool and close to all that Gwinnett has to offer!

The kids do love the Train museum, but I enjoy spending time at the Marriott on Pleasant Hill Road. They offer a great weekend rate that offers a pizza and a movie. The kids get to swim in the pool all day and then end the day with a pizza and a movie in the room. It's a great little get away for the weekend.

There are going to be "Family Fun Friday Staycations" in downtown Duluth every Friday this summer! Most events are FREE (or cheap!). Something different each week. Check the schedule at http://www.historicduluthga.net/merchantEvents.jsp.

Epic Family Life Center, Awesome,Great staff, well maintained. Beautiful pool that is heated in May and September for 5 full months of swimming, 11 Lighted tennis courts with Seasoned Professionals, a Playground for plenty of activity. Organic and wholesome foods to recharge,a facility that offers something for the body, soul and spirt, and did I mention a real deal.

EPIC FAMILY LIFE CENTER for sure - It has all of the "listed" places activities...ok not the museum or railroad. But with all the activities scheduled through out the summer coupled with a great swim/tennis facility its a clear win for me. I personally enjoy the variety of organic goodies that their chef serves up in the Cafe'. If you haven't checked it out yet your only one click away - www.epicfamilylifecenter.com -.

I really love a hidden jewel in the community (which apparently is finally being discovered, as you can see from others' comments)--Epic Family Life Center. It's really accessible, affordable, and enjoyable. It has a sparkling pool, US Open-blue tennis courts, healthy-options cafe, and an amazingly tranquil and reenergizing environment. Singles or families, young or old--this is a great Duluth vacation spot!
