The dance team from Miss Cindy's Dance Studio in Duluth recently won a first place trophy at DanceMakers, Inc. Regional Competition. Rachel Rogers, Shannon Middleton and Sarah Cato competed December 8th at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center and earned a first place score for their ballet trio routine in the Pre-teen Division.

First time competitor Olivia Whitlock earned a high second place score for her tap solo "On the Good Ship Lollipop" in the Camp Dance Adventure Division for ages 4 - 7. She was also awarded a teacher's scholarship to attend the National Competition.

All four girls have qualified to compete in the National DanceMakers Competition this June in Myrtle Beach, SC.
