A Not So Silent Night

Greetings,

I realize it isn’t even Thanksgiving yet, but it’s not too soon to start planning your Christmas activities calendar.

Michelle and I are performing alongside an outstanding cast, in the New Dawn Theater’s Christmas play, “A Not So Silent Night” (A Soldier’s Christmas Story). The play is written and directed by Sherry Ingbritsen. The setting is Christmas Eve 2007, and the scenes are a Kentucky living & dining room and a hospital tent in Iraq.

We play the parents of a soldier and the grandparents of his two young children. It is a blast acting alongside my wife Michelle, and it turns out that it isn’t such a stretch for us to play grandparents because my daughter Heather just gave birth to our first grandchild (Quinn Nikola Fournier) on Nov. 2 up in Montreal, Canada.

The play is a touching story about love, faith and family traditions. I know you will enjoy it. And here is some good news; it will not break the bank. Tickets cost $15 for adults and $12 for children and “seniors.” However, cast members have a supply of discounted pre-sale tickets for just $10 each, which are good for any of the 15 performances. Opening night is Dec. 6, and see attached flyer for the entire schedule.

I hope you can attend. Let me know if you are interested in the pre-sale tickets.

Thanks,

Bruce & Michelle Saarela
